The ENS address named Amazon has found a buyer for $1 million.
Ethereum Name Services continues to grow in popularity. Many world-famous companies have spent large sums of money on domain names.
Amazon’s ENS address likewise found a sizable amount of buyers. An anonymous buyer submitted a $1 million bid through OpenSea to purchase the ENS address.
On October 18, 2019, the ENS domain name “amazon.eth” found buyers for 100 ETH ($20,000 at the time). Later, on February 8, 2022, another anonymous name bought the ENS domain amazon.eth for 33 ETH (US$ 102,000).
If the ENS domain name is sold to the bidder address, the user who made this release in February will have made a profit of 1,000%. It is unclear whether the sale will take place.
