The Sui Foundation has appointed a managing director to increase awareness and growth of Blockchain technology. Greg Siourounis will support the growth and development of Sui’s user base. Siourounis, professor of economics at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens, was appointed to this newly created position.
Siourounis’ mission will be to promote the development of decentralized applications (dApp) and increase the effectiveness of the Sui network by expanding its user base. The Sui Foundation stated that it will continue to provide grants and provide training on the technology to the founders of the network. It will also distribute the SUI token along with grant rewards. It has been announced that these grants will be between $10,000 and $100,000. Siourounis said there is a movement in the world of decentralized finance (DeFi) to encourage more compassion and cooperation. He announced that they will encourage research into Blockchain technology in an environment where regulators continue to put pressure on the digital asset industry.
