According to the news of İHA, Selim Şamil stated that he became free by painting and transferred his works to digital media thanks to NFTs. Shamil said, “The digital world is a very comprehensive and inclusive world. The digital world has contributed a lot to me and my dreams.”
Making statements to the İHA, Shamil said:
“I am 11 years old now and I have done many paintings until today. I believe that painting develops and liberates me. That’s why I feel very peaceful every time I paint. As you know, technology has developed quite a lot lately. NFT is also a product of developing technology. Many people digitalize their unique and original work, promoting their artworks. We also worked on this issue with my father. By moving my paintings to digital, we actually made an entry into this field.”
