South Korean police request the Luna Foundation Guard’s assets to be frozen.
According to a report published by Korea’s national news agency KBS, the Korean police took action to freeze the Luna Foundation Guard’s assets. According to the information in the news, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department has asked multiple crypto-asset trading platforms to prevent the Luna Foundation Guard (LFG) from withdrawing any institutional funds. It has also been suggested that the police acted after they found clues of embezzled funds at the LFG.
On the other hand, it is unclear whether the request will be fulfilled as crypto platforms do not have such an obligation.
