SkyBridge Capital CEO, Anthony Scaramucci, stated that he has made a large investment in Algorand (ALGO).
Scaramucci claims to have found the technology of the project impressive.
The Algorand blockchain was created by Italian computer scientist Silvio Micali, who described Bitcoin as “Neanderthal”.
Algorand is trading at $0.4061 according to CoinMarketCap data.
No Panic Yet
Stating that he has experienced eight different bear markets in total, Scaramucci said that stock market investors have not surrendered yet because there is no excessive panic in the air.
Scaramucci believes that “anything can happen”, although this time he refrains from making a Bitcoin price prediction.
Scaramucci also underlined that people should not own Bitcoin or Ethereum if they do not believe in their technology. The investor is confident that blockchain technology is the biggest innovation since the internet.
Bitcoin is trading at $29,412 at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap data.
