$ 3.4 billion BTC in the Binance wallet was distributed to two separate addresses. While 10 thousand of a total of 127 thousand BTC was transferred to a previously known wallet belonging to Binance, 117 thousand Bitcoins were transferred to a newly opened wallet.
When Bitcoin failed to hold above the $30,000 resistance after two attempts, it is trying to gather strength for an upward attempt at 28 thousand dollars. On the other hand, there are interesting movements in whale wallets these days when there is fluctuation.
When it comes to whales, of course, the biggest whale that comes to mind is Binance. Since November 28, 2022, all 127,351 BTC in Binance’s cold wallet with the address 3JJmF63ifcamPLiAmLgG96RA599yNtY3EQ have been transferred to two separate addresses.
The address to which 10,000 BTC was transferred is an already known Binance hot wallet (bc1qm34lsc65zpw79lxes69zkqmk6ee3ewf0j77s3h).
But 117 thousand 351 BTC was moved to a newly opened address (38Xnrq8MZiKmYmwobbYdZQ5nnCbX1qvQfE).
The general opinion is that the transferred Bitcoins are the subject of the proof of reserve announced by Binance. The address to which 117 thousand BTC was transferred is thought to be Binance’s new cold wallet. We will learn about this in the coming days when the exchange flags this wallet.
