The Shiba Inu community has burned a total of 13 million 816 thousand 880 SHIBs in five separate transactions in the last 24 hours.
SHIB Super Store came to the fore with the biggest SHIB burning of the day. The incineration project, led by the leading Shiba Inu community, burned 10.45 million SHIB in a single transaction that took place just three hours at the time of this writing. The store also announced a reward of 10.4 million SHIB for the community as part of its weekly burn and win program.
Incineration Increases Shiba Inu Adoption
This massive burning resulted in a slight increase in the overall SHIB burn rate of 131.51% compared to the previous day. 4.53 million SHIB transferred to unused wallet in five different transactions.
The Group burned 3.98 billion SHIB in nineteen separate transactions in the past week.
With the cremations taking place, mainstream adoption of the Shiba Inu continues to accelerate rapidly. This adoption has had a significant boost recently with the release of Binance Pay’s WooCommerce plugin, which enables over 40 percent of websites on the internet to accept SHIB as a payment method.
As The Crypto Basic previously reported, the Shiba Inu team is in talks with Huobi, a leading Seychelles-based exchange, and CertiK, a smart contract security firm, to launch a custom cold wallet dedicated to its ecosystem.
