The US Securities and Exchange Commission sued Binance and CZ for violating the US Securities Act.
The SEC sued Binance and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao. While no details about the case have yet been found, CZ made a statement on the subject.
Statement from Changpeng Zhao on SEC’s Case
The SEC’s pressure on the cryptocurrency industry is increasing day by day. After the FTX and LUNC collapses last year, the SEC’s eye is on the cryptocurrency sector. However, Binance has been sued by the SEC, as reported by Bloomberg today.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission sued Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao and the company for violating the securities law.

A response came from Binance CEO CZ regarding the SEC’s lawsuit. CZ’s statement on the subject from his own account is as follows:
“Our team is on hand to ensure systems are stable, including withdrawals and deposits. We will post a response when we see information on the topic. I haven’t seen it yet. The media always gets the information before us.”

As always, CZ referred to FUD by writing 4 at the beginning of his tweet. However, this time, the CEO emphasized that his preparations for withdrawals are complete, instead of just writing 4.
