Tether and Bitfinex have committed to a $100,000 grant to support Qubes OS, a custom operating system. The grant aims to support the development of the open source privacy-focused operating system Qubes OS. Paolo Ardoino, chief technology officer of Tether and Bitfinex, made the following statement on the subject:
“We recognize that privacy and security are of paramount importance in the digital age. We are happy to support the development of a cutting-edge operating system such as Qubes OS, as it is known for its robust security features.”
However, comments about Qubes OS outside the crypto community continue to come. It is getting more and more recognition for privacy and data security.
