Polkadot-based Astar Network has announced that it will release Astar Tokenomics 2.0. The network has already removed 80% of transaction fees in circulation already. However, the team aims to increase the amount of burning even more with “DApp Pledge Burning”.
According to the announcement, projects belonging to the dApp commitment part will be classified according to their value in the network. Primer 2.0 introduces a new token economy model for ASTR. The project has recently announced that it will launch the SDK and the Astar Link, Startale Labs and the establishment of the Astar administration.

SBI VC Trade to collaborate with Ripple (XRP)
SBI VC Trade, a trading platform within the Japanese SBI Group, is collaborating with Ripple (XRP) to leverage XRP’s international remittance infrastructure ODL. Detailed announcement about the transfers will appear later. ODL is an on-demand liquidity service provided by Ripple. It is especially preferred because of fast and efficient cross-border fund transfers.

SolidProof and Kyber Network collaboration

LUNC burns reach new milestone
According to current reports, the total LUNC burned by the community has reached 70 billion. These burns represent another milestone since May 18, 2022. More than 50 contributions have been made by burning approximately 36 billion LUNC on Binance.
DOJ tries to revoke SBF’s bail
The U.S. Department of Justice has submitted a written opinion to a federal judge seeking to revoke the bail of former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
Prosecutors alleged that SBF cast a shadow over her by sharing the diaries of Caroline Ellison, her former colleague and CEO of Alameda Research. They also claimed that the SBF repeatedly harassed the journalist who wrote the article about Ellison. Federal prosecutors state that these moves by the SBF adversely affected the course of the court. Authorities also stressed that he should remain in jail until his trial in October. Judge Lewis Kaplan allowed time for both parties to submit their requests in writing. It was stated that the final decision on whether or not SBF will be jailed will be made on 3 August.
Wintermute to move 4% of its employees to Singapore
