Inflation Research Group (ENAG) announced inflation data for July 2023.
After the new economy administration took office, the inflation in July was expected to be high due to the high increase in indirect tax rates such as VAT and SCT. It was thought that successive hikes in gasoline and diesel prices would be the driving force for inflation.
According to independent inflation calculations announced by ENAG, monthly inflation increased to 13.18 in July, while 12-month inflation rose to 122.88 on a monthly basis.
All eyes are on the official inflation data to be announced by TUIK at 10:00.
