According to CyversAlerts’ report, the size of transfers from CoinEx’s hot wallets, which has a daily transaction volume of $32 million, reached $18 million. The increasing volume, especially in Ethereum-based transactions, strengthens the possibility of a hacking attempt.

CoinEx users should be careful
Cyber security experts also express their concerns about the incident. It is emphasized that Ethereum wallets may be in the process of being emptied and investors should take immediate precautions. They also sent warnings to the CoinEx team that it should temporarily suspend deposits/withdrawals.
Meanwhile, CyversAlerts said in a follow-up tweet that they were unable to contact the CoinEx team.
