Popular messaging platform Telegram, TON made it the official Web3 infrastructure, providing network-specific promotion in the user interface. The company, which announced that it will use the TON network in blockchain systems, also added dynamism to the local token of the project. Telegram and TON partnership goes back a long time
Telegram started developing the TON blockchain in 2018. The project was embraced by community members who formed the TON Foundation the following year to keep it alive.
