Ethereum miners’ revenues decreased by 27% in May compared to the previous month.
Revenues of Ethereum miners have dropped significantly over the past month, according to data compiled by The Block Research. With revenue of $969.4 million, miners generated 27.2% less revenue in May compared to April.
Source: The Block The majority of these revenues, $888.95 million, came from block subsidies, while a relatively small amount, as much as $80.46 million, came from transaction fees. In addition, the share of transaction fees in total revenue also declined, falling to 5.6%.
On the other hand, data shows that Ethereum miners earned 1.08 times more revenue than Bitcoin miners in May.
