It was the last corporate Ferrari to step into the crypto world. Luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari accepts crypto payments in the USA, as a result of its partnership with BitPay. The luxury car company stated that it will launch this system in Europe in line with the demand from its customers.

Ferrari announced that it has started accepting crypto payments from its customers in the United States. Partnering with crypto payment company BitPay, Ferrari will launch crypto payments in Europe after the USA.
As a result of the partnership between Ferrari and BitPay, US customers will be able to purchase cars using Bitcoin, USDC and Ethereum. Ferrari stated that it can accept crypto payments in Europe after strong demand from customers.
BitPay will operate its services on behalf of Ferrari dealers and instantly convert incoming crypto payments into traditional currencies. Thus, price volatility in crypto payments will be prevented.
Ferrari Marketing and Commercial Director Enrico Galliera stated that choosing cryptocurrency as a payment method is compatible with its carbon neutral commitment. The luxury automaker sees the use of cryptocurrencies as energy savings.
Galliera did not mention the exact number of vehicles that will be sold with crypto. However, the marketing director clarified that their order portfolio is solid and bookings have been extended until 2025. Additionally, Galliera said, “If you pay via cryptocurrencies, prices will not change, there will be no fees or surcharges.”
Ferrari stated that it has received intense demand from its customers to accept crypto payments. The company stated that some of its customers are young people who made a fortune with crypto.
