What is the latest situation in the market?

Meanwhile, the week we are about to leave behind was quite active in terms of BTC and altcoin projects. The week started on a negative note with BTC falling below $35,000 amid low trading volumes. However, things quickly recovered on Tuesday and the bulls sent the cryptocurrency soaring to almost $26,000. Although the asset initially failed to overcome this level and was pushed back to $35,200, it reversed its trajectory on Wednesday evening and Thursday. It saw a big rise on Thursday, reaching an 18-month high of $38,000. However, the bears have stalled the move at this point. Because it drove Bitcoin downwards sharply. As a result, within minutes, BTC found itself falling below $36,000.

Then the bulls managed to intervene once again and began to regain some of the lost ground. However, BTC failed to move above $37,600 and is currently hovering around $37,000 after a sluggish 12 hours. Moreover, its market cap remains above $720 billion and its dominance over altcoins in CMC is close to 51.5%.
