CoreWeave’s Upcoming Public Listing
CoreWeave, a prominent player in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector, is reportedly preparing to file for a public listing in the United States within the next week, as indicated by a recent Bloomberg report. The cloud computing company aims to raise approximately $4 billion from this listing, with sources familiar with the situation suggesting that it is targeting a valuation exceeding $35 billion.
As of now, CoreWeave has not responded to requests for comments regarding the IPO plans. In a related development, both CoreWeave and the bitcoin mining firm Core Scientific announced on Wednesday their intentions to embark on a $1.2 billion expansion of data centers in Texas, further highlighting the growing intersection of AI and cryptocurrency sectors.
CoreWeave’s move to go public is part of a broader trend, with several cryptocurrency-related companies in the U.S. recently announcing their own plans for initial public offerings (IPOs). Firms such as Blockchain.com, BitGo, Gemini, and eToro are among those that have also sought to capitalize on the evolving market landscape.
