Coinbase, Chainlink, Strategy Among Companies Attending Trump’s Crypto Summit

Crypto Leaders Gather for Trump’s Inaugural White House Summit

Executives from a diverse range of cryptocurrency companies, including Coinbase, Chainlink, and Exodus, are set to converge at the White House for a pivotal crypto summit hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump this Friday. This gathering marks a significant moment for the cryptocurrency industry as it seeks greater engagement with government officials.

Among the confirmed attendees are Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase; Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink Labs; J.P. Richardson, CEO of Exodus; and Michael Saylor, the chairman of Strategy. The event is also expected to attract prominent donors, as indicated by two sources who requested anonymity.

Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, hinted at his participation by sharing a screenshot from the movie National Treasure on X (formerly Twitter), captioned with “see you soon, DC,” creating buzz around the event’s significance.

The summit will see representation from the White House, with President Trump himself, alongside David Sacks, who serves as Trump’s crypto and AI czar, and Bo Hines, the executive director of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets.

While the exact number of crypto executives attending remains uncertain, the agenda for the summit is yet to be disclosed, leaving many in the industry eager for insight into the discussions that will take place.

Recently, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) concluded its long-standing investigation into Robinhood Crypto, subsequently dropping its enforcement action against Coinbase. Notably, both companies made substantial contributions to Trump’s inaugural committee—Coinbase with a donation of $1 million and Robinhood with $2 million. Other notable firms in the crypto space, including Ripple and Circle, are also believed to be represented at the summit, having made similar large donations.

When approached for comment regarding Ripple’s participation, a spokesperson directed inquiries to the White House. Meanwhile, representatives from Circle did not respond to requests for information.
