The minutes of the May meeting of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) were published.
The minutes of the Fed’s meeting held in May have been published. According to the minutes, many Fed members also supported rate hikes in June and July.
Fed members pointed out that the risk of inflation is increasing upwards. Although the members stated that the US economy is very strong, they emphasized that the labor market is very tight.
All members attending the meeting also supported the shrinkage of the Fed balance sheet.
Fed members noted that the Fed’s monetary policy should quickly shift to a neutral state.
