Twitter refuses to accept Elon Musk’s cancellation of the $44 billion deal.
Bret Taylor, Twitter’s chairman of the board, said in a statement on Twitter that the board “commits to buy with Elon Musk at the prices and terms agreed upon and plans to take legal action to enforce the merger agreement.”
The Twitter Board is committed to closing the transaction on the price and terms agreed upon with Mr. Musk and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. We are confident we will prevail in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Taylor also emphasized that he is confident that they will be victorious.
