According to the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), annual inflation rose by 79.60 percent in July. TURKSTAT published the consumer producer price indices for July. July inflation increased by 79.60 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. This figure stands out as the highest level of inflation since 1998.
According to the data published by TURKSTAT;
The monthly price increase (CPI) was 2.37 in July; the core inflation indicator rose to 61.69 percent.
The rise in producer prices continues unabated in July as well. The producer price index increased by 144.61 compared to the same period of the previous year and the monthly increase was 5.17 percent.
