Infura and Alchemy have blocked access by blacklisting Tornado Cash.
Tornado Cash was sanctioned by the United States (US) Treasury Department yesterday. Today, Infura and Alchemy also blocked access to Tornado Cash for both enforcement and security purposes.

The U.S. Treasury Department claimed that since Tornado Cash was founded in 2019, more than $7 billion has been laundered with the help of the protocol. It was eagerly anticipated what would happen in the crypto industry after the US Treasury Department’s Tornado Cash sanction.
Another service block news, which is closely related to the subject, came from Twitter user 0xdev0. In his social media post, he stated that Infura and Alchemy are blocking remote procedure call (RPC) requests to Tornado Cash.

In the photos in the tweet, it is seen that Tornado Cash users using Alchemy or Infura endpoints cannot use the RPC service. But this restriction seems to be limited to front-end code. As reported by some users on Twitter, it is still possible to access Tornado Cash via the “method call” from the command line interface (CLI).
