Metaverse, which is among the most talked about technological topics recently, attracts a lot of attention in the education sector. Many institutions and organizations have started to work on the metaverse in education. Metaverse studies in the education sector in Turkey are gaining momentum with Bahçeşehir College.
Bahçeşehir College, which has implemented the first Metaverse Education Program at high school level in Turkey, will implement the program in all high schools across Turkey.
Metaverse Education from Bahçeşehir College
Bahçeşehir College, founded in 1994 by Enver Yücel, Turkey ‘s first high school begins the Metaverse Education Program. Bahçeşehir College will include basic concepts and theories, digital transformation, NFT technology, future professions and experimental workshops in the metaverse education that it started at the high school level.
He stated that he will design the technology of the new age together with students who are the architects of the future, in cooperation with STANDBY ME, which provides in-house transformation with the trainings and consultancy provided in all verticals of Web 3.0 in this study, while educating Bahçeşehir College students for the professions and disciplines of the future.

Bahçeşehir College General Manager Özlem Dağ made the following statements regarding the subject:
“Like many new concepts, they are unknown, but the possibilities it will bring seem limitless. As an educational institution, we consider the metaverse as a concept. We care about its philosophy as well as its technology. The most important institutions that will save new technologies from being a conceptual confusion are of course educational institutions. Our students, who will establish their future in a new world where the metaverse will also exist, will perhaps work and produce in this world. We will also try to make sure that they step into this world in the right way. I see the Metaverse Education Program as an exciting journey where the basic concept will be explored and a whole new world will be discovered.”
