Terra (LUNA) Backers of Astroport (ASTRO), one of the most popular decentralized finance (DeFi altcoin) apps in the Blockchain ecosystem, have detected a copycat app.
DeFi altcoin project Astroport’s fake app!
According to a statement shared on Twitter by anonymous crypto developer and enthusiast TheMoonMidas, scammers uploaded a fake app of Astroport to a major digital market.

The app is an official app of the Astroport team for Android-based smartphones and tablets. looks like product. It shows the interface of a real Astroport app, but it has nothing to do with it.
Experts state that it was most likely created by scammers interested in stealing funds and private keys of Terra (LUNA) ecosystem participants. TheMoonMidas added a screenshot of the app (named ‘Astroport Swap’) and asked all Terra (LUNA) and Astroport (ASTRO) supporters to report to management via an abuse reporting mechanism.

Twitter followers confirmed the existence of the fake app and stated that Astroport (ASTRO) has never used instruments for mobile devices. Astroport (ASTRO) is an integral tool for the decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges (DEX) of the Terra (LUNA) ecosystem and the meta AMM of ‘Terra’. Experts note that the DeFi altcoin project is becoming more and more popular for the DeFi segment, with TVL metrics increasing almost 8x in the last six months.
Currently, Terra’s third largest protocol; only heavyweights have been surpassed by Anchor (ANC) and Lido Finance (LDO). LUNA was trading at $80.53 at the time of writing, losing 4.45% on a daily basis, according to CoinMarketCap data. The DeFi altcoin project ranks 8th in the top 10 in the crypto league in terms of market cap. LUNA is 32% off the all-time high of $120 that it saw about a month ago.
