One Out Of Every 226 People Owns At least $1 Bitcoin

The research revealed that one out of every 226 people in the world has at least one dollar of Bitcoin.

Although the crypto money industry has been experiencing great difficulties recently, the number of people interacting with Bitcoin is increasing day by day.

Bitcoin Holders Increase

According to statistics from BitInfoCharts.com, as of August 26, 35,257,206 crypto addresses hold at least one dollar worth of Bitcoin.

This corresponds to about 0.4% of the global population. This means that one out of every 226 people has at least one dollar of Bitcoin.

Of course, there are cases where a person has more than one Bitcoin address. An investor can have at least one dollar of Bitcoin at multiple addresses.

Crypto advocates prefer Bitcoin to fiat currencies for its ease of transaction, speed, and low-cost transfer. Every day, more and more corporate companies are interested in Bitcoin.

It can be said that most of the investors who own Bitcoin around 1 dollar are retail investors. Investors care about owning BTC even if it is 1 dollar because of FOMO.

Likewise, El Salvador’s acceptance of Bitcoin can be an important catalyst that increases the number of wallets.

On the other hand, Bitcoin continues to struggle with volatility and regulatory uncertainty. This situation is among the biggest factors in front of the adoption of the asset.
