Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has made a new announcement for various altcoins. According to the announcements, the exchange will support various changes in altcoin ecosystems. Here are the details…

Binance supports BEAM and BEP2 upgrades

The BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at the BNB Beacon Chain block height of 264.000.000. This corresponds to approximately September 2, 2022, 9 pm. Deposits and withdrawals on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) will be suspended approximately the same day. Operations will be suspended at 8 pm. On the other hand, Beam (BEAM) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at 1,920,000 Beam mainnet block height. This roughly coincides with September 2 at 12 CEST. Deposits and withdrawals for BEAM will be suspended on the same day at 11 pm.

Trading of tokens available on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and BEAM network will not be affected during network upgrades and hard forks. The exchange announced that it will meet all relevant technical requirements for all users. BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and Beam (BEAM) network upgrades and hard forks will not result in the creation of new tokens.

Exchange will support Vite (VITE) network update

The VITE (VITE) network upgrade will occur at the Vite mainnet block height of 101,320,000. So, approximately September 1, it coincides with 11 pm. VITE deposits and withdrawals are suspended today at 10 pm. VITE trading will not be affected during the network upgrade. Exchange partnered with SafePal

Binance Connect, a leading global payment infrastructure provider powered by Binance, has announced a new partnership with SafePal, a cryptocurrency wallet that provides hardware wallet, software wallet and extension wallet product lines, all paired and managed through the SafePal App. SafePal, Binance’s first portfolio of hardware wallets, currently serves over six million users worldwide. Users on SafePal will be able to directly purchase more than 200 cryptocurrencies with Binance Connect using their credit/debit cards.

Binance.US supports Cardano (ADA) staking

Binance.US, a San Francisco-based subsidiary of crypto giant Binance, has added support for Cardano (ADA) staking, according to a recent announcement. The trading platform offers an annual return of 6.4% on the ADA token. Binance Loans system update will take place
