Ethereum Proof of Work gave the Mainnet date for the Ethereum PoW Fork with its Twitter account.
We are in very critical days for the Ethereum Blockchain network. It is estimated that Ethereum’s network upgrade will take place in 2 days.
Ethereum PoW Fork Date Announced
Ethereum’s Merge is estimated to be 2 days away. One of the steps that will move the Ethereum network from the Proof of Work consensus to the Proof of Stake if there are no problems with the network. Merge is currently hailed as the most important event in the blockchain world.
It has been announced that Ethereum’s Proof of Work fork will take place 24 hours after Merge.

As Ethereum’s Merge approaches, many companies have shared their work on network upgrades with users. In addition, there were companies that made statements supporting the transition of Ethereum to Proof of Stake. While developers support Ethereum Merge, some mining service companies announced that they will not support it. One of them was mining equipment provider Antpool.
Some of Ethereum’s miners plan to keep the legacy network up and running to process and verify transactions on the existing PoW network.
The forked network will look and feel like Ethereum, but only a skeleton of the real thing, with apps and tokens with no use or value.
