Terra CEO Seeks Police Protection: These Exchanges Are Launching LUNA!

Terra CEO Do Kwon’s wife sought police protection after claiming that an unidentified person had entered the apartment in South Korea. Meanwhile, while delist news continues to come from various exchanges, transactions on the network are once again suspended. Here are the details…

Transactions on Terra network stopped again, exchanges continue to delist

With native token LUNA and stablecoin UST in free fall, Terra will launch its Blockchain within 24 hours He says he stopped a second time. In a tweet, Terra said that the blockchain “officially stops at block 7607789.” The announcement said, “Terra has stopped validators to come up with a plan to reconfigure the network. More updates are coming,” he continued. Blockchain was first paused on May 12 for fears that it had become vulnerable to attacks. The developers at Terra later announced that block production has resumed even though staking has been disabled.

Meanwhile, crypto money exchanges that delist LUNA seem to be Binance, eToro, Bybit and Crypto.com for now. As we reported on Cryptokoin.com , the crisis on Terra was triggered by the departure of its algorithmic stablecoin, UST, from the US dollar. Despite frantic efforts to restore the UST by issuing massive volumes of LUNA, it has not been fixed. The circulating supply of Luna (LUNA) surpassed 25 billion on May 12 as Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwon and others sought to ease the UST selling pressure.
