The 2023 program planned by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey has been taken to the Official Gazette for publication.
In the prepared program, the economic and financial developments that the country has experienced so far were mentioned. In addition, targets and plans for the next period were also included. The aim of the program prepared for 2023 was announced as increasing investment, employment, production and export as a priority. The planning, which aims to create an innovative, investor and strong economy model, was published in the Official Gazette.
Digital Turkish Lira in the Presidential 2023 Program
The digital Turkish lira part in the prepared developments, macroeconomic objectives and target program drew attention. In the program content, it was stated that in line with the findings of the Central Bank Digital Turkish Lira Research and Development Project, the tests of the use of the Digital Turkish lira for payments will begin.
It was also stated in the program that the integration of the Digital Turkish lira will be completed. The integration of the digital Turkish lira system with digital identity and FAST structures will be accelerated. In all these Digital Turkish lira studies, research and development activities will be carried out with banks.
In line with the developments, it is evident that Turkey also aims to play a pioneering role in digital transformation. There will be new developments on these issues in the near future.
