A CryptoPunk NFT has found buyers for 475 ETH.
The sale reveals that there is still demand for NFTs despite the deep crisis in the markets.
Demand Continues for CryptoPunk NFTs
CryptoPunk #924 NFT has been sold for 475 ETH (approximately $735,770), according to a Twitter bot tracking recent sales on the NFT collection.
Analytics platform Rarity. According to Tools, the NFT in question has a rarity score of 132.39. This is NFT’s rarest 2,327 in the collection. It means it’s NFT. The NFT sold includes distinctive features such as Punk image, beard, earrings and 3D glasses.
NFT was purchased by an anonymous person who had previously made two more purchases from the collection.
CryptoPunk emerged long before NFTs went mainstream in 2021. The collection, which was first released in 2017, was only able to catch the expected interest last year. Many collectibles were sold for millions of dollars.
A piece from the popular collection fetched an incredible $23.7 million last February.
Although CryptoPunk remains in vogue, the broad industry continues to face a major crisis. NFT sales fell by 60% in the third quarter of 2022.
