Aptos-based DeFi project Arco Protocol asked its community if it still supports it or if the project should shut down completely.
Community Will Make Critical Decision for Aptos’ DeFi Protocol
Arco Protocol announced that it came under heavy criticism after its token sale was hit by issues, leading to the loss of key partnerships with exchanges and other protocols.
Also on Twitter, it was stated that among these issues the project was a hoax and the team is facing accusations that it plans to run away with the funds.
The team posted a Twitter poll asking for support to continue or end the project. The survey presented the community with three options; first, stopping the project and continuing to run. The second is to transfer control of the project to the community. The third is to close everything and get a refund.
In addition to all this, the network’s failure to provide the TPS performance promised in the first place causes criticism to increase. So much so that the increase in the number of applications in the Aptos ecosystem causes the network’s operations to not be done fast enough.
