What happened in the market? As we reported on
Kriptokoin.com , the changes in LUNA have unexpectedly stunned crypto investors. As it fluctuated in the market, other currencies also pulled down alongside it. Terra Luna (UST) was among the 20 most valuable cryptocurrencies until this week, with each token worth around $85 on May 5. In the early hours of May 11, it fell into a dangerous position, dropping to $17.38. Just one day later, on May 12, the coin lost close to 100 percent of its value and fell as low as $0.00002.

UST split from the dollar earlier this week and fell shortly after. Terra creators Do Kwon, founder of Terraform Labs, took to the situation via social media. He told investors he was “close to announcing a bailout” and asked his followers to “hold tight”. In a follow-up Twitter thread, Terra praised the ecosystem and promised that the currency would make a comeback.
