Initiatives that simplify the NFT development process have become popular with investors. Haun Ventures and OpenSea recently supported Highlight and Fair.xyz codeless NFT publishing platforms, respectively. Tropee, which was established to facilitate the next steps of the development of NFTs, was also one of the supported initiatives.
NFT Platform Tropee Receives $5 Million Investment
Tioga Capital spearheaded a $5 million investment round for NFT services platform Tropee.
Crypto founders such as Sébastien Borget of The Sandbox, Thibault Launay of Exclusive, Grégoire le Jeune of Geometry, and Lorens Huculak, founder of Gem acquired by OpenSea, also participated in the capital round. Tropee declined to share its valuation.
Founder François MahlHe said in an interview that although the website states that users should know how to use a wallet, the startup allows its customers to develop experiences around a brand’s NFTs with relatively little technical experience.
Mahl also added:
“A lot of people were buying because they wanted to make quick money, not because they were passionate about the community or passionate about their NFT. The next phase will be about buying NFTs to extract value from them, whether real life or digital value.”
