Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said that after a bad year, the industry is now healthier.
Speaking at a Binance event in Athens, CZ made statements about the course of the crypto industry.

Binance CEO said the following at the event he attended:
“I expected improvement. I think 2022 is a really bad year. A lot has happened in the last six months. Now the industry is healthier”
Zhao declined to make any predictions about the future of the industry.
“For us, the trick is to watch the industry and then try to support whatever the trend is.”
CZ, who started a fund for crypto companies in distress, made harsh words about FTX:
“FTX is more like Madoff. He’s telling lies and a ponzi. FTX’s experience doesn’t mean all other jobs are bad.”
Binance introduced its proof of reserve system earlier in the day. Binance will thus be able to share a snapshot of Bitcoin reserves. While the company has 582,485 BTC in reserve, users have 575,742 Bitcoins.
CZ said that Binance is in a solid position and aims to grow the market rather than make money:
“We have enough income today. Our goal is not to maximize profits. We want to be sustainable.
