A crypto whale has transferred $12 million worth of MATIC.
According to data from Whale Alert, a whale sent 13,428,828 MATIC to Coinbase, the largest US exchange.

MATIC, the native token of the Polygon network, is used to verify transactions on the platform and determine the fees required to run the network.
Despite the deep crisis in the crypto market, important events took place in the Polygon network. Crypto analytics firm Messari noted a 191% increase in NFT sales on the Polygon network.
Polygon also collaborated with the giant coffee chain Starbuck, along with social media giants Reddit and Meta.
Popular crypto strategist Kaleo said on Twitter that MATIC could surpass Bitcoin after removing the diagonal resistance.
MATIC is trading at $0.9163 at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap data.
