PayPal Expands Its Business With Crypto Services
payment company PayPal, said in a statement that it will expand its crypto service to Luxembourg in the coming days, which could be its first entry into the European Union.
Currently, there are four cryptocurrencies that can be traded through the app. Customers will need to log into their PayPal account and they can sell, hold and buy cryptocurrencies through different websites, apps or any other crypto platform. The purchase of cryptocurrencies will start at 1 euro.
PayPal launched its cryptocurrency service in the US for the first time in 2020. A year later, cryptocurrency operations were expanded to the UK. Luxembourg also stands out for playing an important role in the payment company’s expansion into Europe.
