DappRadar data revealed that the number of NFT sales reached 101 million in 2022.
Over the past year, NFTs have played an important role in the growing Web3 industry. NFTs ushered in a shift from hype-based declines to benefits-centered projects with long-term value.
NFT Sales Over 101 Million
NFT sales reached 101 million last year, according to a new DappRadar report revealing data on blockchain and DApp adoption. This means an increase of 67.57 percent compared to the previous year.
According to the report, the Ethereum ecosystem occupies the top spot in the NFT ecosystem, holding 21 percent of the market share and processing more than 21.2 million transactions. Ethereum is followed by Wax (14.5 million), Polygon (13.3 million), and Solana (12.9 million).
Both the Solana and Immutable X ecosystems saw massive year-over-year growth in transaction activity, up 440 percent and 315 percent, respectively. The data also shows that there is no change in the BNB ecosystem, with around 1 million transactions for both 2021 and 2022.
