Saudi Arabia and The Sandbox announced that they will collaborate on Metaverse projects.
Sandbox and Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding without disclosing details explaining the scope of the deal. Like the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia continues to work on Web3 projects.
Developments in Saudi Arabia’s Metaverse Projects
After the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia was one of the countries that continued its breakthroughs in the Web3 field. Saudi Arabia and The Sandbox signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. Details on the subject were not given.
Sandbox’s co-founder and COO, Sebastien Borget, took to LinkedIn to announce the news.
Sebastian Borget used the following statements in his post:
“It was a real honor to sign our memorandum of understanding partnership between The Sandbox and the Saudi Arabian Digital Government Authority. We look forward to discovering, advising and mutually supporting each other in metaverse activations!”
Borget and Saudi Arabia’s DGA signed the memorandum while attending the Leap Tech Conference in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Borget said via e-mail that his company would not be able to provide further details about the deal it made with the Saudi Arabian government, but details will be announced in the coming weeks.
