It has been reported that the Polygon network has experienced an outage. No new block has been processed on the blockchain for over an hour.

No New Block Has Been Processed In A Few Hours On Polygon Blockchain

Polygon Blockchain has not processed a new block for over an hour. This has raised concerns about whether the Ethereum scaling chain is experiencing an outage.

According to Polygonscan, Polygon hasn’t made any new transactions in over an hour. Polygon did not address the pause from any of its official accounts and made no statement.

The potential cut at Polygon comes just a day after Polygon Labs, the company behind the blockchain, laid off 20 percent of its staff, or about 100, to cut costs as part of a consolidation move. The last time the blockchain suffered an outage was March 2022.

Interruptions in blockchains are not uncommon today. An interruption means that no new transaction can be made on the Blockchain. This situation generally causes decreases in the crypto money of Blockchain.
