Two young teenagers living in Istanbul were trading on a cryptocurrency exchange and their accounts were banned and closed after their activities were deemed ineligible. A total of 200 thousand liras were stolen from the accounts of young people whose access to the application was blocked. Young people who wanted to log into the system with their ID numbers were shocked when they saw the phrase “A criminal complaint has been made to the Public Prosecutor’s Office”.

After the incident, the two young people who took the matter to court realized that no charges were brought against them, but that their meetings with the company executives did not yield any results. Dozens of people have been scammed and have not been able to get their funds back for over a year, the teens said.
