Istanbul Blockchain Week Web3 Event to Host Its Visitors in August

Istanbul Blockchain Week, the biggest Web3 event in the Eurasia region, opens its doors on August 22-23. The main event “IstanBlock” is held for the second time this August.

Organized by Web3 PR and Creative Communication agency EAK Digital, IstanBlock 2022 was the highest profile event ever seen in Turkey. The event brought together Turkish government spokesperson Ziya Altunyaldiz, top Turkish banks İşbank, Garanti BBVA, and Akbank, as well as cryptographer David Chaum and Sandbox co-founder Sebastian Borget.

This year, IstanBlock will feature innovative conversations, keynotes, debates and panel discussions covering the most important topics of Web3 such as regulations, banking and DeFi, as well as DAO, AI, Metaverse, Trading and NFTs.

More than 3000 people attended the Istanbul Blockchain Week in 2022. In line with the positive markets in the first quarter of 2023, it is planned to increase the number of participants.

The most important feature of Istanbul Blockchain Week was the diversity of its events. Following the huge success last year, the first web3 esports championship of its kind, W3E, will be held at the Hilton Bomonti Hotel as part of the IstanBlock event.

W3E is the largest Web3 trade show in the region and offers both game studios and gamers the opportunity to showcase their games in front of an audience while watching professional gamers compete for grand prizes.

IstanDAO, a global gathering of DAO pioneers and contributors, will be on IstanBlock in its second year. The event will be the scene of brainstorming and deep conversations from industry leaders. Following the event, IstanDAO will provide an opportunity to collaborate, share and solve key issues facing DAOs to provide an industry-wide framework for DAOs to implement.

IstanHack, the official hackathon of Istanbul Blockchain Week, will take place in IstanBlock. IstanHack is getting ready to stand out this year after the influx of web3 developers to Turkey and the great interest from layer 1 protocols in the Turkish developer ecosystem. Existing web developers from Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine, as well as enthusiastic web developers from numerous universities and blockchain clubs, are quickly gaining a reputation.

Istanbul Blockchain Week will host an incredible diversity of cultures in the Web3 space. From DeFi geniuses and blockchain technology professionals to government officials, seasoned crypto traders and miners, experts will take the stage to share their perspectives and networks with those interested in building their networks in the crypto space. Gathering at the meeting place of Europe and Asia, Istanbul Blockchain Week will discuss how web3 is headed and how we can build a better digital space to benefit users worldwide.

EAK Digital, which organized a successful event with more than 3000 participants last November, decided to move the event to the summer months, allowing visitors to Istanbul to have this experience.

Erhan Korhaliller, founder of Istanbul Blockchain Week, said:

“We are delighted to bring back Istanbul Blockchain Week this August. Last year, IBW set a high benchmark for us. With the rapid development of the Turkish blockchain industry, attendees can expect to see the event continue to scale and grow. We will continue to innovate and bring the best international speakers to Turkey and keep a close eye on the Turkish ecosystem. There is no better way to enter the Turkish web3 ecosystem than at Istanbul Blockchain Week”
