Dogecoin’s (DOGE) NFT community decided to erect a statue of the dog named Kabuso, from which the popular memecoin was inspired.
A statue of Kabuso, the Shiba Inu dog featured in the visual of DOGE, which was released in 2013 to “make fun”, will be erected in Japan. Kabuso had been suffering from cancer for a while.
The NFT community called Own the Doge announced that they will open the statue to be erected in Sakura, Japan, on November 2.
The dog that inspired Dogecoin is being immortalized!
The statue will be located in Sakura Furusato Square, where Kabuso often goes for walks.
