What happened?
HTX (formerly Huobi Global), where Justin Sun is a global consultant, was attacked by hackers on November 22.
In his statement on the same day, Sun stated that the HTX and HECO Cross-chain bridge was hacked and that withdrawals and deposits were suspended.
While the attack resulted in a loss of $13.6 million, it was stated that deposits and withdrawals would continue within 24 hours.
The exchange promised that the losses would be compensated 100 percent.
