The development environment, called Cloudverse, is designed to provide an end-to-end platform for companies to customize and maintain metaverse spaces to experiment and find new ways to interact with their customers.

According to an emailed announcement by Alibaba, Avalanche will provide the technology to create Metaverse plots or playgrounds, while Alibaba Cloud will provide computing and storage.
The partnership comes with Alibaba in less than a month, following an agreement with Mysten Labs, developer of the Sui Layer-1 Blockchain, to provide node services for validators on the network’s testnet. BlockchainIt has become the second link of its kind to the network.
Avalanche’s native token, AVAX, experienced a slight rise after the news was first announced.
