Job postings posted on Amazon’s site explain the company’s plans, which clearly state that Amazon plans to reinvent its longstanding search feature.
The following statement for “Senior Technical Program Manager”, one of the job postings given by Amazon, was on the site:
“We are working on a new AI-first initiative to redesign and reinvent the way we search using next-generation deep learning techniques at massive scale.”
This position, which requires at least seven years of experience directly with engineering teams, will cost between $119,000 and $231,400 per year, depending on the applicant’s location.
