An Important Milestone Reached in the Shibarium Network

The testnet of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Shibarium, although still new, has seen significant growth and adoption in a short time.

The testnet work of the Shibarium project, which was developed for the Shiba Inu ecosystem to work as a layer-2 network, has reached a new milestone. According to the developments in the rapidly growing testnet, Puppynet has reached 100 thousand wallet records as of this week.

Developments continue at full speed

Shibarium has been subjected to criticism and accusations from many people over the allegations that it was cloned from another network. Commenting on the allegations, the developers admitted that there was an omission to the chain ID and changed the chain ID of the testnet, and on March 24, the network was restarted.

However, we cannot say that these rumors have affected the SHIB community much. Statistics were reset with the reset of the chain ID last week, but as of yesterday, it was stated that the metrics had reached the peak again.

With the launch of Puppynet, the transaction volume increased rapidly, and this week, close to 145 thousand transactions were recorded daily. However, over 100,000 wallets are currently integrated into the beta network.

While transactions are in full swing on the Shibarium testnet, Shiba’s developers Syhtoshi Kusama said that 500 validators want to join the network. In addition to all this, Shibarium developer Unification announced that they are working on a new wallet for Shibarium. With this wallet, which is planned to be developed, multiple solutions such as two-way money transfer between layer-1 and layer-2 networks and staking activity are discussed.
