Terra CEO Do Kwon revealed a new roadmap for LUNA and UST.
Beginning with the words “Terra is more than UST,” Kwon said that the Terra chain should be forked into a new chain.
6/ The Terra chain as it currently exists should be forked into a new chain without algorithmic stablecoins called “Terra” (token Luna – $LUNA), and the old chain be called “Terra Classic” (token Luna Classic – $LUNC). Both chains will coexist.

Kwon stated that the old chain will be called “Terra Classic” and LUNA will be called LUNC.
The re-released LUNA will be airdropped to LUNC and UST owners.
Do Kwon stated that they believe this move is the most appropriate solution for reviving Terra.
Kwon has finally announced that this proposal will be put to a community vote. If the bid is successful, the new chain will be launched on May 27.
