The popular altcoin Algorand (ALGO) network continues to be adopted for the development of beneficial initiatives. Australia Zoo, popularly known as the home of crocodile hunters, announced that it is using the Algorand Blockchain to enter the world of digital arts and Web 3.0.

According to the Australian Zoo, Algorand Blockchain to develop Wildlife Warriors’ non-fungiable token (NFT) and added that the limited digital collections will be used to celebrate the zoo’s 20th anniversary. The Australia Zoo said in a press release shared today that it has partnered with Meadow Labs, an Australia-based technology startup focused on developing NFT projects.

According to the announcement, the initiative is part of the zoo’s management’s awareness and fundraising efforts to protect all Australian wildlife. The limited NFT collection will be randomly generated, utility-oriented, non-deterministic, and exclusive to buyers who will invest in the project. Specifically, the digital collection will be made available to interested investors worldwide and can be purchased using the fiat ramp through NFT, Moonpay. “We are really excited to partner with Australia Zoo in their first entry to Web3 and on their mission to fight one NFT at a time for the planet’s wildlife and wild places,” said Martin Kelly, co-founder and CEO of Meadow Labs.
