Known as Europe’s largest economy, Germany performed poorly in the business climate index in July and worsened for three consecutive months.
According to the Ifo Institute’s survey, the business climate index was recorded as 87.3 in July. While the revised index was 88.6 in June, expectations were at 88.0. The current situation index, on the other hand, was at 91.3, but expectations were at 93.0. The expectation index, on the other hand, came in at 83.5 versus 83.4 expectations.
