According to the announcements of many cryptocurrency exchanges, various exchanges will list Optimism (OP) at different times. Binance, for example, listed the OP on June 1, 2022, at 9 am UK time. Users started depositing OP early in preparation for trading. Withdrawals will become operational in the morning hours of June 2, 2022. The time for withdrawal is an estimated time for users to set a rough date. Users can see the real status on the withdrawal page. Binance will only support OP deposits on the Optimism network. “Please do not deposit OP tokens in other networks,” the exchange warns users. The trading pairs listed on Binance are as follows:

What is Optimism (OP)? As
Kriptokoin.com also reported, Optimism (OP) is a layer-2 (layer-2) scaling solution for Ethereum that can support all Ethereum applications. It uses optimistic aggregation technology to group batches to save gas fees. OP is the local government token primarily used to manage the protocol. Optimism is an EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible Blockchain created for simplicity and practical use to make Ethereum transactions cheaper and faster than usual.
OP will be a governance token for the protocol’s Token House, one of the two centers that make up Optimism’s governance system. Token House is responsible for managing the network’s treasury funds, upgrades, and parameters. The token supply will amount to 4,294,967,296 OPs, but only 225,485,783 OPs will be part of the initial circulating supply. Among those eligible for the airdrop are the first users of Optimism, which had over 250,000 addresses in April. Meanwhile, the other hub, Citizen House, will distribute retroactive public goods from the fees generated by the network.
